Attractive and Vibrant
The Monte Carlo aquatic plant is a beautiful addition to any aquarium. With its vibrant lime green colour and round leaves resembling pearls, this plant adds life and beauty to your tank. Its bright colour complements neutral-toned items in the aquarium, such as substrate and rock decorations.
Easy to Grow and Maintain
The Monte Carlo is an excellent alternative to the popular Dwarf Baby’s Tears plant. Unlike the latter, the Monte Carlo is easy to care for and maintain. It only requires a moderate amount of light and does not need additional Carbon Dioxide supply. However, an extra amount of CO2 can help the plant grow faster than its average rate.
Broad Coverage
The Monte Carlo spreads outwards rather than upwards, providing broad and flat coverage to the aquarium flooring. This makes it a versatile option for tanks of all sizes. When there is an elevation, the shoots of the Monte Carlo will eventually stoop to the ground.
Easy Propagation
The Monte Carlo is easy to propagate, making it a convenient option for fish keepers. Simply plant it with a few inches of space in between each stem in a dry substrate before filling the tank with water. In less than five days, it can fill up the ground flooring of a medium-sized aquarium.
